The Tea Cosy

Picture this: a little tea shop in Brighton, originally intended as a shrine to Diana, but now displaying a variety of royal memorabilia. Imagine that it does beautiful tea and scones and sandwiches (all within a reasonable price). Now, imagine that the scones aren't just your average plain or raisin - you can get Rocky Road, Mars Bar, or all sorts of fruit flavours - all coming with a complimentary jam/ spread. This is the Tea Cosy.

After stumbling across this gorgeous tea shop based on Yelp reviews, I have been back twice, each time bringing new friends to let them experience the kind of afternoon tea that everyone imagines is the norm England.

After now considering myself a bit of an expert (more photographs to come!) I would have to recommend the Rocky Road scones - a chocolate scone with raspberry jam and whipped cream covered in marshmallows is a winner in my book.
