Munich Christmas Markets

Christmas, shopping and cold weather are three of my favourite things and they combine to form the incredible Munich Christmas Markets. We arrived here at about 5pm (by which case it was already dark) and enjoyed an evening walking through the markets, stopping every so often to eat the amazing food and take picture of the beautiful decorations.

We went to the Marienplatz Christmas markets which are situated just off the Marienplatz train stop. The area is absolutely bustling around this time of year - filled with families, friends, couples and individuals walking through the markets, often with a mulled wine in hand.

Unfortunately I don't have the cord I need to move photos from my camera onto my laptop and so these were all taken on my phone (hence the slightly dodgy quality). Regardless, I hope you enjoyed a taste of the beautiful Munich Christmas Markets - we're hoping to head back sometime this week.
